| Trying to conceive (TTC) BnB Elite  Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: middlesex, UK Posts: 18,120 | periods with pcos Hi Ladies I have had my trans vag and they found pcos, waiting for the doc to recieve the letter so that he can take it forward. i have been to see him and he has said the first thing he will do is refer me to endocrinologist and put me on metformin. i am getting very painful heavy periods, with large clots.  my question is, do you find the metformin helps with this? or do you have any other meds you take for it? i am going back to the docs hopefully friday if my scan results are back and just want to see what others have experienced, and whether i need to ask the doc for some help with this Thanks  |
