Joining Long term TTC & AC

Can I join you girls? Not feeling like I really fit in on the conventional TTC section of the site. As my signature says I have severe endo (ovary tethered to pelvis, extensive endo deposits everywhere, recurrent cysts) but have had 3 natural bfps which have disappeared before I even made it to 6 weeks. DH and I are seeing my gynae on 12th April in her fertility clinic and I have no idea what she'll suggest. I am doubting IVF, IUI, ICSI etc as we can make an embryo we just can't get it to stay. Does anyone have any idea what they can offer? She has said no to another laparoscopy to remove the endo because of the scar tissue risks (I've had 2, Nov 08 and June 09; more endo grew when I was on Zoladex, which really shouldn't happen). Any thoughts?
Thanks girls.

I am sorry to hear about your losses. Sorry don't have any advice but just wanted to welcome you and hope you don't have to stay here for long. I do understand what you say about IVF since your problem is different but I am sure the doctors will find some way around it.

Thanks for the welcome, I look forward to getting to know you all before you hopefully head over to first trimester soon!
One thing is we are pretty determined and are willing to do anything to get our successful BFP! We fortunately have time on our side but my consultant has said that we don't need to wait the 18months of ttc before moving on to assisted conception due to my endo, so for once it is actually a good thing!!!

Hi ya

Welcomed to LTTC.

I also have severe endo and am currently undergoing IVF! Although for me I have never had a BFP - yet!

Have you had any blood tests at all? And has DH had a semen analysis?

I hope your stay here is short and sweet xx

Fingers crossed for your IVF!
I've had Day 3 and Day 21, thyroid, liver, kidney and other such things checked. All have come back "normal". Haven't had prostaglandins checked I don't think (did some reading today and will ask consultant about that one, and clotting too). DH's SA has come back "normal". Annoyingly my surgery won't give the actual results just what the GP has made of them.
I know that we are lucky to have had even the short spells of being pregnant, some of the consultants have been really pessimistic, whilst the one that did my laps seemed to think we wouldn't have a problem (I am doubting him though as I don't think he knew that much about endo, I seemed to know more than him, and either Zoladex didn't work and more endo grew whilst I was on it, or he missed bits!). Our journey this far has been short so I can't complain, and at least now we know that I have endo and we are getting the necessary help! (Having an optimistic day today somehow!)
