Mother's Day

Anyone else really struggling with mothers day this year?

Normally I just concentrate on my mum and MIL and not think too much about what I am missing out on, but it isn't working this year. I feel so weepy today, don't think I am ever going to experiance being a mother.

My babies were due five days ago.

This mother's day is killing me because it all worked out so perfectly. What's worse is that my friend's newborn is all over facebook. Her name's Chloe. It's the name I told the child's mother I had chosen for MY baby and she said "Ohhh I'll have to think of another name, then."

I go onto my facebook today and it says 'Chloe says Happy Mother's Day.'

Yeah, that was a kick in the teeth.

I'm struggling for the first time ever. I suppose I had years of not wanting children so it never bothered me. Now I am at the stage where I have been really wanting a baby for over two years with two traumatic losses and at 42, nearly 43, I am thinking it will never happen.

My mum is in another country as well so no mummy to hug and no babies to hold.

Sending you a hug hon 'cause I know exactly what you mean. x

Ohh honey - that is so very sad. You must be struggling right now. I think I would hide her on your FB for the time being until you are stronger. x

CS, that is awful. She doesn't sound much of a friend. Wish I knew what to say but there isn't anything that will make today any easier for you.

CS your friend needs a smack in the chops..... I've got the right hump today so I am more than willing to put myself forward for the job.....

I know I am already a mummy (it took 3 years but it IS posible ladies!!) but I did seriously think things would be easier this time round and that I would be a mum of 2 by now. So I am feeling a bit black today. Plus DH put his name down to work so he's been out all day. Grrrr...

I am really sorry. It must sooo hard for u. loads of hugs. ur friend should have been more sensitive.

I am avoiding facebook at the moment. Almost everyone on my List have baby pictures. My friend just dropped by after buying a blanket for her baby due any day now. Normally I am ok but today, it feels like my heart is breaking.

Loads of hugs to u all. I really really pray and hope that all of us have a healthy baby soon.
