Hi,

Success of IUI would depend on total count as well as motility. 36% is not that bad. How much is the count and morphology?

I know all of this is very stressful but we are all here for you.

I know the count was 42 million and the morphology was normal as well i'll have to look at the paper again to remember the actual number

Hi Kayaksmom - my OH's motility came back 38% and the FS didn't think it was too bad, obviously not ideal but not so bad. I've been told I also have diminished ovarian reserve which is more of an issue. The FS has told us that we can still conceive naturally but has recommended we make an appt with her for IUI whenever we decide we're ready. IUI is def a good option for low motility as it takes out the need for the long swim so puts the swimmers right next to the egg. Good luck!

I think your numbers are good enough for IUI. Like HappyDaze said IUI is meant to be for low motility.
