Acupuncture ladies...

This past cycle I did clomid with acupuncture. While it was relaxing and kept my heachaches at bay it burnt a hole in my pocket.

This cycle we are not doing clomid and will prob not be able to do it until two cycle from now b/c of my DR appt coming up (whole other story)

Just wondering if I should continue acupuncture? Does it help in the long term, I think about the OOP Costs for an IUI that will we have to pay if we can not get pregnant with medication or naturally. I could start saving now, but if doing acupunture now can get my BFP faster I am willing to do that, but it is $60.00 a pop and I can not keep shelling out money.

Need advice, WWYD?

A friend of mine at work used to practice in acupuncture and he reckons that Chinese herbal medicine is the way forward.......acupuncture is good for muscular tension issues but herbal is good for creating balance within.............thinking of giving it a go.................cant do any harm other than burn a hole in my pocket too lol!

ive just started my 2nd month of acupuncture but im not taking the herbs because they are nearly 40 ponds a week...cant afford that! My temps have been slightly higher since the acupuncture and im a lot less stressed and woried about ttc in general which i never thought would happen! I do believe in it! My last session kinda hurt when the needles went in like they were very sensitive...i was annoyed thinking he was putting them in harder or something but he told me that i was feeling them because my immune system was down....next day woke up with shingles so he was right which is amazing! They also take your pulse which they can find out cbout your heart, spleen etc from and he has told me that my problem is my kidneys, that they are too cold. They beleive in the elements: fire, soil, water, wood etc he said that my heart needs fire to warm the water etc...interesting stuff! I would recommend it! It is expensive bit having some 'me' time and feeling more relaxed about ttc and feeling in control makes it worth it!
