hcg injections during luteal phase?

Is anyone doing hcg every couple of days for a week after their IUI?

I had my first one two weeks ago today and I haven't gotten AF yet (I generally start in the morning). I've been told not to test until the 9th because I could get a false positive. But its really hard not to... I took a dollar store one a couple of days ago just to see if the hcg was still in my system and there wasnt a line when the control went pink so I walked off but 30 minutes later it showed a second pink line- which I know I can't put any trust in because it was past the test time. I really want to test but I don't want to waste the money if AF shows up tomorrow.

But what I want to know is, for those of you that have hcg as a luteal phase support, does it delay AF from coming on time? I'm wondering if the hormone can slow things down a little.

Hiya

I had a trigger shot of hcg to induce ov and my luteal phase was 8 days. I think it depends on the concentration of the shot - if you have more it might last longer x
