We've been ttc for 18 months and have had 2 "unknown" mc, 1 mc at 12 weeks and 1 ectopic at 8 weeks. We already knew we would have problems as I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2003 (had a lap to confirm Jan 04), I have been on the pill since I was 12 with problem periods and have been throwing up confusing hormone tests ever since. Since the lap I've been on many different medications to keep the endo at bay. Each time I see a different Dr I get told something completely different, in 2005 I was told I'd had my menopause (and I was 22 at the time), obviously I was completely devestated until I went back 2 weeks later and was told they'd made a mistake! Now I'm in Basel, Switzerland and I'm really happy with the treatment I'm getting, they put me on Danazol for 3 months to clear out the endo, which worked as I got pregnant within 3 months of being of the treatment, but then I mc at 12 wks. I got pregnant with the ectopic pregnancy soon after. The positive side of this (and I have to find one) is that at least the endo has disappeared since these 2 pregnancies. I was diagnosed with borderline hypotyrodism so that will need to be watched whilst I'm pregnant. In early 2008 I had an HSG which found my right tube was blocked, 2 weeks ago I collapsed at work and they found I had severe adhesions and an infection. At least the blocked tube is gone, I'm recovering at home and it won't be long before we can TTC again I'm going to "try" not to conceive until September now, as my best friend is getting married in Canada in August and I've been told I won't be able to fly during my pregnancy due to all my problems, and in September I'm moving back to the UK.

Phew, that was a lot of details!

We've been TTC for 18months but 7months into our journey discovered that DH had spermy problems.

Since then we've tried accupunture, herbs and all the home remedies for men, different positions, OPK's, taking breaks and having random sex, you name it, we've tried it! We did 3 different sperm tests which all came back with very low motility, I also had a 21 day progesterone test which came back normal.

We first saw a FS in January this year. He wanted to check me out so I had a full hormonal blood test, pelvic ultra sound, lap, hyst, dye test, curretage and biopsy on my uterus all coming back normal. He wanted to put me on clomid which I wasn't happy about as I already ovulate, so we sought a 2nd opinion with who is now our new FS. We've had a phone appt with him and next Friday have our first appt in his office (we're a 10hr drive from him) where we will also meet with the nurses and DH will have a full on sperm test done by scientists. From there it is 1 week till we get results and then find out what treatment we will be doing. Either IUI, IVF or ICSI.

So now we wait...as if we haven't waited long enough!

I hope we all get our BFP's real soon girls

So Ladies...

I go back to the doctor next Monday. I am so excited but so nervous. Between work and moving, I have been so busy that I have been trying not to think about TTC but it is so damn hard.

For example... 2 of our fellow 12 month + ladies have become pregnant and then one of my crew members asked for the day off tomorrow so he can take his lady "friend with benefits" in for an abortion and various other things. Soooooo frustrating but I have my head held so hella high. I am so so so pumped for Monday!!!!!!!!

Here is hoping all of us get our 2008 !!
