Thanks girlies. Actually I had a checkup at the hospital last friday and found out more about the operation. I had wondered why I was in for 4.5 hrs this time when normally it's only 1.5, but then I forgot about it. Anyway, turns out that they found a localised infection near the fallopian tube, which is why I collapsed. The type of infection it was indicated that my colon had perferated, but obviously that's something really serious and I would've been a lot iller. Anyways, they had to investigate that my colon was not damaged, they couldn't find any perforation evidence so sewed me back up after removing the infection and adhesions. They sent the infection to the pathologist and he confirmed it was stool (eww) but they have no idea how it got there, I am a freak of nature!!
I'm still at home, it will be 2 weeks tomorrow that I had the op and I'm still so tired, and it hurts if I sit in a chair too long and I have back ache because I still have a lot of liquid swishing around down there which makes everything uncomfortable - plus I told my boss on Friday that I'm leaving for the UK and don't want to have to face him
