Hello all, i am 30 and ttc number 1. I was diagnosed with pcos in dec and blocked right tube. I have been on met 1700mg for 3 months and 100mg clomid 5 days. Never had a bfp, not used much contraception in 7 years and never got bfp. Dont know wot to expect, just dont think it will ever happen! anyone else feel like this??

I've been on Met for @ 5years to control my weight re PCOS
and was given Clomid last friday, starting off with 50mgs for 5days cd 2-6

I'm on cd 36 so willing AF to arrive, usually i'm on average 40days.... Did a test tuesday was a BFN, should of done it but i just wanna know for sure and get this Clomid Show obn the road

We have only been TTC-ing since Dec 07 (xmas day) rather romantic.....

I feel that its going to take ages and does get me down and depressed.... i've tons for friends that all feel by suprise all unplaned so it really hard to discuss this with them.

thanks for your reply's. I have just taken my last clomid as I am day 6 today. Felt a bit dizzy earlier but ok now. I have ordered some ovulation and preg tests online so just looking out for signs of ovulation now, i dont think i have ever ovulated so only going off what i am reading. Apparently women should ovulate 5-9 days after last clomid?? Will keep tryin and see wot happens. We have been ttc since oct 07 but for 7 years now we have used barrier method of contracption between day 10-20 and nothing the rest of the time, my irregular cycles are anythin from 40 to 140 days, i thought everyone ovulated at the same time!! oops! Never had bfp so that on my mind and now finding out about the pcos and blocked tube i feel a bit deflated. xxxx

I'm starting my second cycle of clomid - 50mg CD2-5. I've had tests done and apparently I'm 'normal' - DH strongly disagrees with that one. I ovulate normally, but nothing has happened. I was prescribed clomid to give me stronger ovulation - or something like that.

Let us know how you get on. Good luck with the clomid, and I'm sure you'll be telling us all of your BFP very soon.

hello and welcome to BB. I started clomid last month 50 mg. I too have my right tube blocked. Clomid did get me a good O but it was on my right side. I am now waiting for the witch to so her face so I can start my 2nd cycle. I take the clomid cd 3-7 and I take it at night they say the s/e are not as bad, but i did get very lightheaded and dizzy about 45 min. after I took it but only lasted for about 1/2 hour. Welcome. I got diagnosed with PCOS as well. I did two cycles of clomid, ovulated with the first, told me I hadn't ovulated on the second...obviously I did. We had decided after the second cycle that we were tired of TTC (over 2 years) and that we were okay w/o kids for awhile...I figured it was NEVER going to happen as doc gave me a 1,000 to 1 chance (literally) of conceiving...let's just say, miracles happen. Don't give up hope!
