Felopio - anyone heard of this treatment?

Hi everyone!

I'm new here and have been reading this board because I am currently waiting to start IVF as I have only one fallopian tube which (sadly) is blocked.

I just came across a website offering a treatment that you do yourself called 'Felopio'. It is pretty expensive at 450 dollars and works by inserting pre-medicated tampons for a whole cycle which (supposedly) unblock fallopian tubes.

Has anyone ever tried them - or considered trying them? I'd never heard of them until today.

Thanks in advance

Hi huni, welcome to Bnb. Sorry to hear what you are going threw oh and I currently waiting for ICSI he has azoospermia, I have never heard of this and am not saying it doesn't work but please b wary as unfortunatly there are allot of thing on the market that claim to work but in reality they are just exploiting our situation. I would call and disscuss this with your doc maybe they will know more. Good Luck.

Thank you to both miel & wannabmum for your warm welcome! I think my doctor would tell me to forget anything that claims to be a herbal remedy and I'd be too embarrassed to ask!! But it would be nice to hear that it worked for someone Not sure I'd want to try it without a recommendation, especially at that price.... but so many people these days talk about alternative therapies (for problems conceiving) that I might try something more common like acupuncture.

Hi Darlin. Firstly best of luck with your IVF when it does arrive. I've never heard of this treatment, I know there are a lot of medical websites, that offer advice from doctors. Perhaps asking on one of these may give you a clearer indication of what it's all about. But like the girls have said. I would tread lightly

welcome! ive never heard of it but i would reccommend accupuncture, i started it a couple of weeks ago (i have adenomyosis and possibly endometriosis aswell). If nothing else im a lot calmer about ttc and why it hasnt happened yet/whats wrong etc etc. My accupuncturist has a lot of people who come to him who getting ivf and women who are pregent and want to help prevent miscarriage and promote a healthy baby etc.
