For all those ladies whose OH's have been for SA ... how long did it take for your test results to come back?

Ive been waiting just over 3 weeks now and im starting to lose my patience. Fair enough 2 weeks but not over 3 its getting silly now as its delaying the whole process. Any other results are normally back within a week or just over

I want to complain but who on earth do i complain to about it too?

see some people have said weeks but we didnt have to wait to long probably cause im on the phone every day ha ha

We got our SA results within 5 days they had said a week....get on the phone & pester them it's unfair making you wait!!

Who ever the best is at complaining, I would get on the phone and contact the docs/hospital. The way that they have handled this situation is pretty crap in my eyes.

I find if you complain enough, you should get your results.

We've had 3 SA's done and I was on the phone everyday till I got the results. 3-4 days.

We had ours back within the week. Three weeks sounds ages. I'd definitely complain!

Were the results going back to your GP? If so, I'd ring them and get them to chase it up.

We had to wait 4 weeks for our results to come back. he had a 3rd sample lat tuesday and we have had a letter today saying there is a problem with it so feeling really rubbish at the moment worrying think i was happier waiting 4 weeks!

Finally my doc has received them ... she is away on holiday though so i have to wait until next week when she deciphers them.

At least i know they are in the right hands now. I think the mix up was because i am a bedfordshire patient and he is hertfordshire so two completely diff GP's. Luckily i managed to convince a bedfordshire hospital to do SA as it was my GP who wanted it and not his.

Nightmare!!
