What tests / help should I be asking my doctor for?

Hi girls, I hope you don't mind me posting here, but I've been TTC for 14 months now and I think I fit in better here. I've had 2 mc at 6 weeks, one in Feb 09 and one in Oct 09. I'm 31 and DH is 27. I asked my GP what tests we should have when it had been a year but he said because I got pg twice there weren't any tests but they might do some tests (he didn't explain what) if I have a third mc. Isn't there anything I can get done now? I don't want to wait any more as I'm not getting any younger and I really don't want to go through another mc if there's something they could find and possibly treat. What tests could I / should I ask my GP to do? it's doing my head in xx

hi, so sorry4ur loss's... :'( i dont knw what u can ask 4 sorry, but i do knw sum1 who been threw exactly the same as you...dr's told her the same, an it broke her heart...an of course she didnt want to go threw it again...an then she fell pg again, an was so careful, an took it very easy as she was so scared...and now she has just had a beautiful bby girl...dont give up hope.
