Posts: 122 | hi  as said above go c ur gp...start takin folic acid, an get ur partner to start taking vit e an zinc+vit c (thats what we been told) if you smoke they will ask u to quit...but wen u go c ur gp, ask if you can c a fertility specilist to deal with you both...i had to go c a specilist 4 apps btwn march+nov they tested me an gav me u/s + blood tests, they asked my db to do 2 sperm anaylisis tests...both was low + after that they refered us to a male fertility specilist which now we r starting frm scratch with him, another 2 sa's. An u/s + bloods 4my db, but alot of ppl on here hav both just seen 1dr together which im guessin saves alot of time, waitin 4 appointments, referals, an twice the amount of tests...so both go to gp together, see both ur gp's if one isnt as helpful...good luck, x x |

Welcome to our spare room... the rent is very low but i'm afraid the room is only available for a few months so you'd better get looking to rent a room in 1st tri!  Good luck with the docs - NHS isn't the fasted moving place when it comes to testing but having those tests for both of you will at least make you feel a bit 'happier' in the way you can move forward.
