my answer wouldn't be of much help but I didn't wanna read and dash. I personally was on clomid and metformin at the same time and they both have similar side effects. So Im not sure which ones were clomid's and which ones were metformin's.

I didn't have any side effects on my second round with either of the medicines.

I haven't had any side effects either. I'm also really bad about monitoring side effects and things. The only thing I can really offer is that my moods have been HORRIBLE.

The dr i went to said that Clomid doesn't stay in the body. Every month is a new month, there is no build up.

I sincerely hope the side effects go away!!!! I've been a total witch for the last few days and been uncontrollably sobbing for no reason and shaking really badly yesterday. OK today but hoping that it all goes away soon!

Hope you stop feeling sick though honey. Hopefully we'll all get a this cycle then we can just have baby brain instead of horrible side effects!!!!

xxxxx

I know what you mean my poor OH lol i was vile, seems to have settled down now though!

I think every doctor has different views on the length of time the clomid stays in your system, because i was told it builds up every month if you keep taking it!

gud luck

Hi Amy, I have read it takes 6-8 weeks to clear the system. I didn't have any symptoms while I was taking the pills but had tons of symptoms the following two to three weeks. My hotflashes were terrible and I was so moody! I was also extremely bloated and uncomfy. I hope your symptoms get better soon! It is no fun.
