Can you have a Lap surgery if you have your period?

Does anyone know if this surgery will affect your period?

I had my Lap done on the first day of AF - It wasn't an issue, they put a sanitary pad on you when you're in recovery.

Can i ask why you had to go with IVF?

My lap was done with a dye test and they discovered I had blocked tubes hun.

Hi there, thanks for the info, I just had my Lap done yesterday and Very sore today, she found sever endometreosis, which was burned off in my pelvic area. Also She said my left ube is blocked but my right one is open. So i believe we still have a small chance of conceiveing naturally? Anyway, other then it was my first surgical process and i was soooo scared, all the nurses were pretty nice.
Thanks again, if you have any other info you like to share, its always nice to hear
