Dont think itll be worse than mine, they poked me 14 times for the IV and ended up putitng one in my arm, they were saying they might have to use gas instead (thankfully they got one in me eventually)

Hi polo-princess - I had this done about four years ago. Happens just as the others said. I remember laying there thinking their never gonna put me to sleep but before I knew it I was out for the count and awake again! I've got a little scar just below my pubic hair line and you can't really see it. I remember being a little sore for a few days after and really bloated as they filled me with air to help them get to all my bits. I had it done as I get really painful periods and that’s when I found out I had a titled womb but everything else was in working order. Good luck - you'll be fine

heya hun, i had one 15 years ago (my word i feel old now...) for another reason - it wasn't too bad at all, and thats from me - a complete wimp!
It sounds more freaky than what it is, honest!

Wind in shoulders is what sticks in my mind!!!! i have some amusing stories, but i'll share them another day (they're not freaky, i promise!!!) they made me do timed laps around the nurses station so the wind could work its way out - totally recommend it!!!! i have a teeny tiny scar in my belly button, and one just above my pubic bone - i had my belly button pierced about 5 years later and that hurt a zillion times more!

give me a lap anyday over an HSG.......
