| Yea Im hoping on being allowed it next cycle!
We have been TTC for 4 years without a single pregnancy. We have had all the tests and investigations done and there is nothing wrong with me but my husband has poor sperm. Ive just done my 1st month of clomide and pregnyl injection but I just honestly cant see the point? To me it is obvious what the problem is so why put me on the drugs?
How long have you been trying? If you dont mind me asking do you know what the problem is? | | | | Status: Offline

| I have been trying for 16 months. We have had all the tests except the lap, and they have all been normal. They are calling it "unexplained infertility" for now. AF came today, so tomorrow I call the fertility clinic, so they can call in Clomid and get the ball rolling. | | | | Status: Offline

| I would love to know as well. I did 5 cycles with clomid resulting in 1 miscarriage and then 2 cycles of clomid + injectables, decent follies and nada. DH's sperm are fine too and all my tests come back ok. We are considering IUI for this cycle along with straight injectables. | | | | Status: Offline

Only went for our consultation to explain risks etc last week but asked what the success rate was and she said it was 33% (leaflet also says 33%). The success rate for trying naturaly is only 25% so it was really encouraging to hear there's a higher chance with IUI. Maybe the rate differs depending which PCT you're using? Starting 150mg Clomid tomorrow and trigger shot on 5th Dec so will keep you posted.

| Nope, no scan. I am paying this all out of pocket, so we are not doing anything extra. I am picking up my Clomid today, and taking it the 26th-30th of November. Then, I take OPK's and come in for the IUI the day after a color change. If no color change by Dec 7, I come in for IUI, anyway. Do you have to go for a scan? | | | | Status: Offline
