i started doing opks on monday, i thought i got a positive on monday, but when i did it on tues at approx 4pm i realised it was a real positive on tues and ive done a couple since and not positive any more.

i bd'd sunday night, monday night, tues day, tues night, weds days , weds night.

sounds a lot but i reeeeeeeeeeeeeally dont want to miss an opportunity!!!

when can i stop bd'ing!? my OH is getting tired of me pouncing on him :-P

i suffer from pcos that was diagnosed many yrs ago. been ttc for 18 months with no such luck. not had any other tests done on me or oh yet. if i dont get my bfp this month i will get referal to gyne...

If oh is getting tired now and your not getting positive opks anymore I would say every other day for a couple of days just in case.

I would def say if you don't get a this month because I was told I had PCOS many years ago and always put that down to us not getting pregnant. But, when dh got tested it emerged he had very low sperm motility which we clearly had no idea about and have been told our only chance is really IVF, I have been on Clomid to fill the gap until IVF so at least we are certain when I O (I also have HCG injection). I'm not saying there would be anything wrong with your oh, because sometmes it just takes us PCOS sufferes that little bit longer or we just need that little bit of extra help but it is always better to know.

did u ovulate when you took clomid?

Yes I did, the first 2 months on 50mg, I Ovulated, the 3rd month I didnt respond so went up to 100 mg, months 4-7 I have ovulated. I do strongly believe acupucture has really helped me as well.

can i ask.... with pcos, say you have a follicle, can you ovulate and follicles are not large enough to produce egg, or only when follicles are big enough to produce an egg then you ovulate.

im just trying to clarify the reason its hard to get bfp with pcos if everything else is fine.

They say 5 days prior and day of ovulation - if you ovulated Tuesday then eggie should be well fertilised by now.... you could give tonight one last go and let him recover tomorrow

i only got a positive opk on tues so i could still be ovulating

Just do it every other day for a bit. It's just as good and my doctor stated it was better.
