Hi ladies,

I had the HCG shot this afternoon (10,000 units) To those of you who have had this shot before, have you experienced any side effects?

hi hun, i havnt had it done so i cant help any but i was just wondering if your taking clomid or anything, or did they just give u the HCG shot to get you going

Hey Chris77! I took 10,000 units on my first clomid cycle. It made me feel pregnant. IE sore bbs, bloated, sick, headache. Some women get no symptoms at all, and some get at least sore bbs. It will take 14 days for it to be out of your system. So if the symptoms stay after that... YAY!

hey Chris,
I got bloated and felt really pms-y, but not right away- maybe a week later. I still think that my reaction was strange since most have those symptoms right away, but thought I'd add it in just in case it happens to you- took me two months to realize that the symptoms were related to the HCG shot.
hope you don't have any side effects!
