Mycoplasma & ltttc. Pls. Read!!!!!!!!!!!

hello ladies, i've been charting with ff for about a year with my df now since my mmc in oct. '08. i have 2 kids from a previous relationship that i had in my late twenties, now trying for a babybean with my df. i have since found out (after bugging my ob/gyn to send me to a fertility specialist) that i had an overgrowth of mycoplasma (it's NOT an STD), which my df and i were passing back and forth. apparently it's still controversial in that doctors are still not exactly sure how it hinders fertility but from what my dr says, the mycoplasmas cling to the sperm slowing them down and/or killing them. both my df and i were on a weeks worth of vibramycin to clear it up and are hoping for that bfp soon. also note that testing for mycoplasma is not routinely done by your ob/gyn here in ontario, and had i not insisted on a referral to a fertility specialist we would have never known and would be trying in vain. just some info for you ladies and hope to speak with you all soon. ;-)

My DH and I are also treating for mycoplasma ... After, 2 rounds of antibiotics (10 days and 28 days), we're hoping we cleared it. Keeping fingers crossed.
