I would definitely push for an SA. It's far less invasive than women's tests. I had bloods done and then wasted more time TTC. Turns out my DH has severe oligospermia. Had we tested him first, we would've known that our only chance was ICSI.

Went for our appointment at St Mary's this morning.

Despite ringing and asking for a SA and being told that DP didn't need one, they have now said that without this we cannot sign the papers and start treatment as they don't know what his sperm is like!

So he's got a pot and we've got a follow up appointment for the end of January.

I feel like we're back to square one again! Hopefully now we're on the right track though.
