How can I make this a normal cycle?

Hi ladies,

Over the past few years I've been averaging about 3 periods a year and not ovulating at all.

I'd take multivitamins but nothing too special. However after joing boards like this I've recently picked out so good vitamins and supplements to support my body more efficiently.

Anyway, this morning I got my period! Yay!

Usually as I don't have one often the first few days are usually blown and sludgy looking (TMI). Today I've had some of that but also some healthy looking red blood too.

I'm wondering if the vitamins may have helped with this and if so how can I try and make this one into a cycle where I will ovulate and get my body back into a rhythm?

Oh, if only it were that simple...

You can try agnust castus, Primrose Oil and that kind of thing but there's no miracle cure for irregular cycles unless you see your doctor. They prescribe stuff like Clomid, things like that, but it's all just guesswork when it comes to vitamins and herbal stuff.

I tried Agnus castus a few months ago and I'm taking a few different vitamins to help support me so I guess I'll carry on until we see the fertility clinic again in December.

Just trying to stay positive.
