Blood tests tomorrow!!

Right ive been to the docs today and shes decided that we now need to start investigating why im not getting my BFP as in total its been just over 2 years.

Blood tests are being done tomorrow .... then she'll make arrangements for a lap

Just a bit niggled though, about 2 years ago i went for an ultrasound to check everything out ( see my other thread) , and the hospital said all was well. The doc read off the report and it mentioned that i had some follicles on my ovaries. She explained this to me and said that it could of possibly developed into PCOS!! She ruled it out as a strong possibilty because my cycles are regular and according to OPK's im ovulating. Im just a bit niggled that the hospital failed to tell me this? Why on earth did they do that?

So i may become a permanent fixture over here with you ladies instead of the TTC section

Hi polo_princess,
just wondering if the follicles they picked up on before were ruptured egg follicles that happen every month after ovulation anyway. When i was in hosp last month, they found a ruptured follicle, and they said it was a natural thing ((un)fortunatley it was the first time i'd ovulated for goodness-knows-how-long - see previous thread) and weren't phased by it.

Welcome to this forum though, everyone is very supportive and willing to offer help and advice, which has defo helped me during this long TTC journey

Can i ask what blood tests you're having? Hope all goes well with the appointment tomorrow

Good luck, hon! I have had about a zillion blood tests and although they are scary, it really will give you piece of mind on where you might need a bit of assistance in order to get your BFP. Are they testing your OH too?

Good luck, hun! I will keep you in my thoughts!

Good luck, there might not be anything but at least they are now looking into it, i think i'm having the same tests got to go on the 1st/2nd day of my next cycle and will wait for my appt to come through for my scan. I know they are checking my progesterone levels and i also have to go back when i am due on to check i am ovulating (not sure how that's gonna work seeing as tho i'm not regular!)
