For those of you taking 50mg please can you tell me CD you ovulate on? I am currently on CD14 and nothing yet - is this normal?

hi...id like to know this too... im currently on my 1st cycle of clomid...50mg too. i usually would get my lh surge on day 16....so take it i dont ovulate til day 17.....wondering if clomid will make it later?? having the follicular scanning this mth so hoping they will tell me when im ovulating so i make sure i bed lots he he x

This is my first month on clomid 50mg and I ovulated (or at least had a positive OPK) on Day 14 which is pretty usual for me so it doesn't seem to have altered my cycle at all this time. But the scan a couple of days before showed 1 large and 2 medium follicles, so the drugs seem to have increased the eggies so fingers crossed!

I had the color change on the OPK on CD14 when I was on it.

1=15
2=14
3=17
4=20

Well CD16 for me and still nothing!! Oh well suppose I will just have to wait some more - it seems I now spend my whole time waiting....waiting for ovulation....2ww.

Really hope the clomid has worked and I don't go back to ovulating on CD33 and more like before I started taking it!

when i had 50mg first cycle i didnt ovulate at all. only 2nd cycle at 100mg i ovulated!

Pleased to report that when I got home from work yesterday I had a positive OPK - CD16, it did surprise me because I didn't have any EWCM but I have heard that Clomid can cause lack of EWCM.

So we last night and when I woke up this morning I did another OPK and it was positive again so more tonight. I am going round my friend's this evening for dinner and to help her make wedding invitations, so it will have to be a quickee before I go because I don't want OH to be asleep when I get back!

Dancingkate - just noticed we have similar cycles on clomid - fingers crossed for both of us xx

Manchseter 1, I was exactly like you, they game me 50 mg the first time and I didn;t ovulate at all my progestrone level was 0.8 The second cycle I was put on 100mg clomid and my progestrone levels were 7.6 to ovulate your progestrone needs to be between 4 and 28. so 7.6 is really awesome..
