Hi,

I am supposed to be having an appointment on friday with the consultant who I have not yet seen. Have just got a message on my phone from the hospital sying that they might have to cancel my appt as they havent got my blood work of day 2-5 of my cycle!!

It's such a hasle trying to get an appt in the first place then having to book the time off work and now being told last minute that I may not be able to get it done

I am sure that I had blood taken on day21 of my cycle and day2-5 last year, Then when I went to the hospital on my first visit they said that they wanted me to have blood work done again for day 2-5. The thing is that I decided that I would get my blood taken on Friday as this will be day 5 of my cycle and see the consultant at the same time. Now all that has been messed up and they probably cancel my appt. The thing is it is so difficult in terms of timing and taking the time off work to get all this done. I just recently started a new job and so had to wait and then every time it was day2-5 it was possible for me to go and get it done.

I'm sorry for the moan I just wondered if anyone could offer any advice, I ahve been reading posts on here where people said that they got blood done on the same day they sw their consultant. I just fell so confused and frustrated with it all and I had no idea that this need to be done before.

I have no advice hun just wanted to say you must be so frustrated i would try and give them a call tomoz and explain how difficult it is booking time off work etc just be really pushy and see if you can get anywhere, good luck x
