My fertility specialist appointment was today!

I had my fertility specialist appointment today. I was supposed to get the chromosome results back but they didnt have them in yet (have already been waiting 3 months which is how long they said the wait time would be) She told me to call back next month for them. All of my other blood work came back great. She said Im perfectly healthy..she felt kind of bad because we pretty much went there for answers and had none. She's still concerned about how long my cycles are and even though the last one was much less then the others she perscribed me Clomid (50mg for now and if that doesnt work then 100mg I think on another perscription) and provera. She said that if im not pregnant by the time I see her again in January then they will go into further testing and do a dye test and also check hubbys guys lol...hopefully clomid will work though and I wont have to worry about it!! Im only on cd17 right now so I have a bit before I can start it but still

I would get your hubby's guys checked. That is what our problem is...and I went through all the tests first. Could have spared us.

Yes I would of thought your OH would have a SA anyway?? I would maybe ask for one, as Jasmak said it could save time in the long run.

That is the first thing my doc checked because it is such an inexpensive and easy test. Especially compared to all of the different test required for us girls. I'm suprised they haven't done that yet.

She honestly didnt think it was his guys because we have already been pregnant twice (granted I did miscarry both) but when they did the ultrasound on me I did have several cysts on my ovaries so thats why we first suspected PCOS not to mention I also had several other PCOS symptoms...I dont know if she still suspects PCOS or not though. Its definitely a problem with me I think because my cycles are so crazy long she thinks I may not be ovulating like I should be every month making my cycles 72 days, 74 days, 49 days and last 37 days (since February 2009).

I am so glad to hear you have been prescribed Clomid! If you have not gotten pregnant this month, I hope that it works for you next month! I have heard of lots of success, and hope you are a lucky one. Good luck!
