Hi i took my ov test at 10am n it was lighter than the control panel it says in the packet read after 3mins.

I checked on the website n it said it can sometimes take hrs for the LH to show in the wee sample so i looked at my test gain n now its dark....

what does this mean?

It doesnt mean anything, just teh test has dried out.

What the website means is that when you produce a higher level of LH it can take untill leter in teh day to show up in your urine, which is why its not reccomended to use FMU for testing with OPKs.
