Bourn Hall Clinic, Cambridge

Hi,

Just wondered if anyone else is have IVF/Fertility treatment as Bourn Hall and what their thoughts, outcomes were??

I feel very lucky to be having my treatment at the home of IVF! and also cause I got in on the NHS

Hi ya

I haven't used Bourn Hall yet, so I'm no use to you!! But thought I'd reply as my OH and I are being referred there. My OH just has to do his SA this week and then my gynae is sending everything off.

How long from when you were referred did it take you to get your appt at Bourn Hall?

Hi Hayz,

My dh SA was sent off on 7 July 2009. We then were invited to an IVF Seminar on 21 August and had our first consultation on 5 October. So not that long of a wait to be honest. We were told it could be up to 15 weeks.

Now we are just waiting to start. They couldn't fit us in until January though, but we can call up for cancellations.

My sister in law had her treatment there... they've had three failed attempts so far but they're hoping to start their fourth next month. I'll have to ask her what she thinks of the place.
