Persona Fertility monitor....


Hey ladies hope u dont mind me pestering you...but i have been lurking around trying to find out about anyone else that is using this or a similar monitor but havent had any replies in ttc...i have been ttc for 3 years now since coming off mycrogynon 30 and have to wait for IVF due to my age (21). So thought id give the persona fertility monitor a go...anyone know anything about these or using one would be great to hear from you! xxxx

thanks hun ... iv posted a few times but apparently they arent as popular as CBFM .... starting to lose hope now with ttc

try to stay positive, I know its hard but what choice do we have? How long do you have to wait for IVF?

As for the monitor, I think it doesn't matter which brand it is as long as it helps you figure out when you ovulate.

I've used one, can get a bit pricey with the sticks but there pretty good, give you red days for when you're fertile, will show a little egg sign for when it detects the LH surge and therefore you're ovulating and it will give a green light for when you're not fertile. Pretty easy to use really Can take a couple of cycles to get used to you but I found it was telling me I o and I have long and differing length cycles so I was impressed. I'm not using mine at the moment, purely because I'm NTNP and on a break and because I would forget to pee on the stick in the mornings!

i got to wait until april 2011 until i can go back on the list for further testing and treatments at IVF wales xx
