PCOS and IVF protocols

I'm full of questions today!

Just wondering if anybody with PCOS could tell me if they underwent the long or short IVF protocol (and reasons why??)

Thanks

Hi Ladies

Just to let you know I have PCOS and am currently in the 2WW of my first cycle.

I was put on short protocol which means stimulating drugs for between 8 - 15 days from CD2 of your cycle.

Definitely private - it costs a lot but the success rate at the private clinic in my area was so much better than the NHS.

Do some research on the HFEA website about the clinics in your area and pick the one that feels right for you.

When are you thinking of starting?

I have my treatment in Manchester where are you going? who is your app with?

My treatment started a week after my initial consultation but it was very rushed as my AF came very early!

I'm going to Care, although I'm from N.Ireland. Don't know who my appointment is with yet.

I'll be CD3 on Thursday and just want to get stuck in, no waiting about for me! When's your official test date?
