8 days of clomid - Egg retrieval.

hi
we're gearing up for egg retrieval and i've been on clomid for the last five days.
now my doc has me continuing the clomid for the next 3 nights. that'll be 8 days of clomid. anyone done this?
i'll also be doing two more shots of menopur before my next blood test next Tuesday morning.

anyone been through the egg retrieval process? what's it like? will i be home all day after?

will i need to miss work? what's it like? i'm a little nervous about it...

My clinic gave some sedation drugs so egg retrieval was a breeze. I was a bit sore for a day or 2 after. But, nothing bad. Also, I've never heard of doing Clomid with IVF so I can't help you there. I did clomid with my IUIs for 5 days but only did FSH with my IVF without the Clomid.

Did you need to take off work or could you go in same day after egg retrieval?
Where is the pain? Is it in your ovaries?
