Frustrated

Okay, I've been charting for 8 cycles, on Clomid for 7 now. I am on CD 35 and previously my longest was 32, so I want to be hopeful, but my temp dropped and has stayed low since about the time that I should have started the next cycle. I chart on Fertility Friend and it is saying that ovulation has not been detected. I thought it was around day 18 which is about normal for me and I had ovulation symptoms. Since being on Clomid my cycle has been very regular so now I don't know what to think. Also took HPT today and it was not positive. Any thoughts. Only symptoms I have is very emotional and breasts feel full, but these could be related to my cycle too, so it is hard to know. I want to think that I'm pregnant, but the low temps don't indicate that. We have been trying this stretch for 18 months and we had tried before that. I have had the tests and the only thing found was low progesterone levels indicating that I might not have been ovulating hence the clomid. Help I need your thoughts and encouragement.

Have you had any testing to see if the clomid is helping you ovulate? Like have they done a scan on like CD 13 or 15 to see if there is anything there? Have they prescribed you a progesterone supplement to help too? Do you have a link to where we can view your chart?

They did progesterone tests for several months that indicated that I am ovulating on Clomid. I have also had a laparoscopy for endo in Jan 09 and a test to make sure my tubes are clear and they are. DH has had sperm tested and he is fine. Not sure how to post chart, but will try to figure it out.

Hi Kairzh, i've looked at your chart at it's a wierd one. It does show a rise in temps around cd18 where you thought you could feel ovulation but then your temps dropped again so soon, this could be due to progesterone levels but then i would think that AF should have arrived by now.

The only other thing i can think of is that you didn't actually ov yet for some reason and thats why AF hasn't shown her face.

Maybe try and go back to the doctor if it lasts for 40 days.

Just had a look at your chart. It really is weird. It must be so confusing for you right now.
I can't really give you any advice since as you know I am in sort of similar situation as well.

When will you meet your doctor again? Maybe you can take this chart with you. Its strange that after confirming you do ovulate on Clomid, your having a weird cycle. Maybe they need to change your dosage. What dose are you on currently?

Good luck!

I have been on it for 7 cycles now, the first one was 50 then he upped to 75 which produced the progesterone levels that indicates I am ovulating, so that is what I have been on for the last 6 cycles. I normally see him once I start my new cycle to get checked for ovarian cysts and get the next Rx.

I can't seem to find any information on what this could mean, but unfortunately I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant. Thanks for the support.

My 2ww is now going on 4ww. I continue to have low temps and negative pregnancy tests, but I am pretty sure that I ovulated because I had the post-ovulation symptoms and it seemed to me like I did. Could I ovulate 2x in the same cycle and I'm getting ready to O again? Could I be pregnant with low temps and it is just not registering on HPT? Should I request a blood test from my doc? Advise please, I don't know what to do or what to think or what to hope.
