Lap n dye - does it muck up your cycle?

Hi

I had one on the 22nd September. I got my results a couple of days ago and my tubes and fallopian tubes are all ok, they found some fibroids on my uterus but are on the outside and should not be the reason Im not falling pregnant.

Im to start clomid on my next cycle.

I chart my cycles and know that I usually OV around day 12 or 13 but Im now on day 15 and still my OPK's are coming up negative. Do you think the lap n dye has mucked up my cycle and that I wont OV this month?

Hi I dont know the answer but I am interested in finding out as I am having one myself. Do you have to have it at a set time in your cycle? X

hi i was booked in for a lap n dye and af came day before i was due to go in so phoned my fs and he said it cant be done while bleeding.
best to phone and check.

I'm now wondering the same - I had a lap & dye on the 2nd of September and then had AF as normal 10 days later but now, when AF's due again, she's late - and I did a cheapy internet test this morning and got a BFN. I'm never late, always 27-28 days with a day or so of spotting beforehand but I'm on CD28 and no sign. Grrrrr!

I had my Lap and Dye last cycle and my cycle remained the same as usual, but my FS said it can make the cycle longer as well.

You are suppose to have the Lap and Dye after you have stopped bleeding but before CD 11, so only a small window (I think it is to ensure you are 100% not pregnant) but I do know people have had it much later in there cycle then this.

I had a hsg in August and I got a postitive opk that morning before the test and when I got home, I had another positive opk. The next day it wasn't as dark, but it was still positive. It made me bleed a little more after, but I still was ttc.

I had one in February I think and I don't remember it messing with my cycle, but I would imagine it could since some peoples cycles seem to be very sensitive.

I had mine done 2 days before AF.

My temp has risen now quite considerably now so really am unsure what is going on this cycle

My period came on the sunday and I had the lap and dye test the next day they said aslong as you're not bleeding heavy then the op can still go ahead but I just wanted to know if it messed things up cos after the op I only bled a little bit and then had nothing even tho I was ment to be on my period dunno what to think
