| new to forum, 2nd round of 50mg clomid :( Hiya everyone , i a new to this me and my partner have been trying to conceive for the last 15 months , i knew before we started to ttc that i had slight pcos and didnt really have regular periods, and was seeing a specialist who took me off the list as i wasnt ttc at the time then i met my partner and we want to ttc and we are now seeing a gyneacologist 3 months ago i had a ultrasound on my ovaries and i have a few cysts on my left ovary so the consultant started me on norithisterone for ten days twice a day then when i bleed on the 2nd day i took 50mg clomid once a day till day 6 then on the 21st day of the bleed i was supposed to have a blood test to see if i ovulated but unfortunately we was away on holiday so i couldnt get the blood test although we did an ovulation test it was a faint line and a strong line but i heard this means negative, anyway six weeks ago i went back to the consultant who didnt want to treat me anyore untill they ruled my partner out so he had a sperm count done which came back last week as really good sperm count and positive for him so hes ruled out of the situation now, so i am back on the northisterone for ten days now then im doing the clomid on days 2-6 of my cyle and the blood test on day 21 i have to do this for 6 months before i go back to my consultant next year, i just feel like a failure and im giving up hope so i joined this forum for support THANKS Aileen xxxxx | | | | Status: Offline

There is a thread called clomid club which is great as we all just chat about our experiences and support each other, you should come across and join in. Its great for your sanity!
