I was hoping for Clomid right off the bat too but one question. Do you have PCOS? I ask because my doctor really recommended that I go on Metformin first before trying Clomid. He said that the average miscarriage rate is between 12-20% but that the average miscarriage rate in women with PCOS is 40-50%. That shocked me but then he said that some studies have shown that the miscarriage rate of women with PCOS drops when on Metformin. (Just some food for thought. Obviously if you do not have PCOS, this is probably meaningless. LOL)
GOOD LUCK!!!! |

Good luck with the appointment, I am waiting for an appointment to come through from the clinic to get me started on Clomid - so I guess we will be going through this together.
Best of luck and keep us updated. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I have severe PCOS and they put me straight on clomid, didn't say anything about the miscarriage rate being higher. If the cycles of clomid hadn't worked alone they were gonna try the metformin with it. Good Luck! |
