| Clomid Side effects Hi Ladies
I know that there are a few threads like this, but really need your help.
This is my first cycle taking it and Im feeling very low but also very spaced out and feeling that Im watching myself in the third person.... iygwim... I cant concentrate for very long and having trouble having conversations. What I mean by that is that my mind doesnt seems to connect with my voice... I bet Im sounding like a right Psycho now Ive tried to contact the clomid nurse but theyre off today!
Just wondering if anyone else had experienced the same???

| How much are you taking and where are you in the cycle? I have some similar side effects though not as extreme- the clomid makes me feel really groggy and out of it, especially in the morning. I feel like I'm underwater for about 3 hours after getting up. But it usually stops by early afternoon. Are you taking the tablets at night? | | | | Status: Offline

| I think it is normal. I had the opposite which was uncontainable euphoria, which was odd too.
I try to take the side effects as an indication that its working and that no pain no gain! I could be silly, however after about a week after taking the last one I felt human again. I find time is going very slowly on them.....! Good luck hun. XXX | | | | Status: Offline

| yes yes yes i know exactly how you feel this is my 10th round in my life took 6 months to get my son and we've started the road again soon after his birth as we're anticipating it taking a while.
i've vowed this is my very last month on clomid it makes me feel really weird especially last month i'd cry for no reason, and feel completely paranoid and crappy as though i have no self esteem .
all i can say is the day after my last pill i feel like a different person
think positive xx | | | | Status: Offline

| Hey honey
Yup, I get very similar side effects, as well as getting very 'down' and lethargic. Th.e 1st couple of months were the worst
I make sure that I always take it last thing at night, which minimizes the effects.
They do subside after the last pill | | | | Status: Offline

| Aww, sweetie, I know exactly how you feel. my first month was just like that. Thankfully, the 2nd was better and the 3rd almost unnoticeable.
Here's hoping you don't even need to be on for more than a month xxx | | | | Status: Online

| Thanks ladies for the reassurance.... I thought I was going out of my mind... quite scary actually. Who'd have thought such little pills could do so much!!!
Fingers crossed mext cycle wont be as bad.... or atleast I know what to expect... I found that taking it at 4pm OK... that way I was at home or asleep through most of the side effects. xxxxx | | | | Status: Offline
