Clomid Ovulation ?

For the other Clomid ladies out there, how consistant is your day of ovulation? For rounds 1 to 3, I had monitoring to make sure I didn't miss anything but this month I'm on my own with OPKs. So far the ovulation has come pretty late (no O, CD20, CD23). I'm not sure what to expect this month (i.e. when to start OPKs). Any advice or experience?

I am on my first month of Clomid and totally confused about ovulation. I am on CD 18 (took 100 mg CD 4-8) and I have been doing OPKs since CD 11 and have yet to get a positive.

I am wondering if OPKs just don't work for some of us?

I'm not sure if OPKs work, as I've yet to start, but even on 100 mg my ovulation is really late, maybe you have the same problem. It's also possible that you won't ovulate at 100 mg, but hopefully that's not the case. Maybe in a few more days you'll get a positive!

hi-
hang in there- ovulation may come several days late on clomid. I'm just past ovulation on my first round of clomid, and I ovulated about 4 days later than usual. I kept thinking the opks weren't working, and then I finally got a positive on day 16. I've heard of a lot of people not ovulating until cd19 or 20 on clomid so it can happen very late.
hope that helps!

it's true what brooklyn says, my ovulation was pushed back by 3-4 days as well and my cycle therefore extended to 31-32 days. hang in there!

Well i used to ovulate any day from cd23 - cd33 and i'm now on my first cycle of clomid. I got a positive OPK on tueday( cd17), then yesterday it went fainter but still quite dark, then i took another this morning and it showed positive again so i've got no idea whats going on. On top of that my CBFM is still only showing 'high' and no 'peak' so i'm really confused. Although my temps have been high for for cd 18 and cd19 so i'm waiting to see if my temp stays up and i have ovulated or whether its a false alarm.

Its so confusing!! I'm just going to keep b'ding!
