I'm Currently Feeling: | had my first gynae appointment I finally had my first gynae appointment. The doctor was very nice and did an internal ultrasound (this scared me as i didnt think i would be getting anything done and in like to be prepared for it). It was too sore and he showed me the images of my uterus and ovaries. He also asked me a lot of questions. He said they could do a laporoscopy but as i am ttc its not a priority at the moment.
He said my uterine lining is thicker and bulkier than it should be so he thinks i have adenomyosis- endometriosis of the lining. Hes given me a prescription for the pain and heavy flow during af. He said 'you will get pregnant'- well we shall see! Im quite a doubtful person but this was encouraging! Im glas i actually got a diagnosis...i knew i wasnt going mad!
Oh he also said he couldnt tell if i was pregnant as its too early but it was exciting to think there might be something in there/ thats where my baby would live when i have one! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Glad it went well and you got some answers. Your gynae did more than mine did at my first appointment, i just had questions asked and blood tests. |
