chefamy1122's journal

I honestly don't know where to begin. I guess I am having a bad day today so journaling may help clear my head. I found out last night that yet another one of my friends is pregnant. Someone who was not even trying...of course!! AAAARRRRGGGHH. She missed one stupid birth control pill and gets pregnant. She was scared to tell me b/c she knows the trouble I am having with TTC and this will be her and her husbands 3rd baby... none of which were planned, but all 3 blessings. Don't get me wrong, I am happy for her, b/c she is a great mom but I spent a good part of last night crying... which I seem to be doing alot lately (stupid hormones!) It seems like everywhere I look, people are pregnant... I think the one that hit me the hardest is my sister in law.. whom I love dearly and I honestly can't wait to be an aunt, but it was soooo easy for her and my brother to conceive. I am thrilled that I will have a beautiful nephew in April, but I am also jealous.. which I think is a natural reaction.

I started on the progesterone last night, which will hopefully bring good old AF for a visit soon, then will be able to start round 2 of the Clomid. Can't wait to see what 150mg are going to do to me!

Well, I think it finally "clicked" for DH that TTC is not going to be as easy as he originally thought. He knows that I have PCOS and that I started the Clomid, but I honestly think he assumed that I would get pregnant the first month on it, which did not happen. I can't really blame him, b/c he is a man after all and they definitely don't understand the woman's body and how it works.

YAY. Its Friday! Last night was day# 3 of taking the progesterone, and so far no side effects. I am pretty suprised, because normally by body is really sensitive towards side effects of medicines/hormones... Of course, next week I will probably be having massive mood swings. I just really hope it brings AF down for a visit so that I can start on the 2nd round of Clomid.
I am going to talk to DH this weekend about investing in a clear blue fertility monitor. I know he will probably cringe when I tell him how much they are, but I think it will be worth it.

CBFM might be a good investment. You could always get it and not tell him hehhehe (that is wrong huh?). Best of luck with your prog and clomid!

I hate Mondays. I started off my day at 3:40am b/c DH had to be on a flight at 6am for work and won't be coming back until Thursday. Luckily, this trip did not fall on the days that he HAS to be home. He works for a great company and his immediate boss (who is currently pregnant with twins herself) knows what is going on, so they are working his traveling schedule around me and my cycle.
I think I am going to order some preseed today. I have read great reviews on it so I figured I might as well order it.
