A Q on Artificial Insemination

I'm hoping to get a reply on this here:

How many days off work would you need should you plan to use this method? One day? Two? A week?

Do you mean IUI? Doesn't take that long and requires no anaesthetic if you do it through hospital/clinic. They advise to lie down for a bit afterwards but no more than a day...if that...

If you're doing it at home you can do it after work so you wouldn't need any time off.

No whole days off needed for IUI at all. I asked for the earliest appointment so dropped off sample at 8.30am, had the insemination at 9.30am, lay down for 15 mins and back in the office for 10.15 latest - quicker than a trip to the dentist!

Hope that helps
