Clomid - Queston re ovulation

Hi ladies
Another question re clomid.. no ovulation pains, but really big tender boobs.. quite high cp and wet cm but not EWCM done opks and negitive!!

Do you opks usually go darker each day nearing ovulation??
I havent even really got a line so i dont know if clomid is working..
I took last tablets on Friday so its 6 days since the last tablet and dont think i am ovulating or am going too..

Feeling crap now!! I thought they might work!!

Mine never went darker. They just sort of popped up positive when they were going to be positive. This wasn't on Clomid though. On Clomid they were positive every single frigging day. Literally.

As a general rule, though, they don't always graduate in darkness. I know mine never do the rare occasions I ovulate.

I used clomid to get pregnant with my son, I tried the test the 2nd month of being on ith and it said I didn't ovulate and that was the month I got pregnant with my son. I am on it again and this time my DR told me what days to use the test and on the 2nd day of taking the test it said I was ovulating, so we'll see if it worked. I will find out August 1st if I am pregnant. Ask your Dr for the days you should take it, because the days will be different than what it says on the box. My DR told me the 10th thru the 18th day then have intercourse every other day during that time, but everyone is different.

Hi.

This is my first month of Clomid and I took it days 2-6. I didn't get any signs of getting a positive OPK it just appeared on CD14 and then got lighter over the next few days. I also had quite a bit of EWCM on CD14 so am quite sure I ovulated on that day.

Went for my 21 day bloods today, so we shall see. Hope this helps you in some way.

Same for me. They did not gradually get darker. It just happened one day. Good luck!

All my doctor said was your ovulate from 5 to 10 days after last tablet.. and maybe try using opks he never said best time to have sex..
I know the best time to have sex is from last tablet really to as long as you can, to make sure there is enough sperm in there to get the egg... just trying my best to see a positive result so i know its working.

My Dr told me to have sex everyday when I asked him how I would know if and when I was ovulating, lol, its all so simple to them! he told me that taking my temp was the best way to know if and when I was ovulating,I hopefully start my first round of clomid this weekend so will let you know how I get on! Have you tried taking your temp? I cannot help but feel like this is a new chance with clomid and trying so hard not to get too hopeful..

Dont wanna temp, its just a added stress.. only got two months of clomid as i gyno wouldnt give me any more until hsg scan in october..hoping i get BFP so dont need hsg scan tho xx

When I was on Clomid I was told by various people that using OPKs is pointless as the drug can mess with the result. You know that if you are going to ovulate it is going to be in a certain time frame so the best thing to do is just have sex every other day (or every day if you feel capable) from about day 4 to about day 12 after your last tablet. You can start earlier if you like. In fact, just doing it every other day for that cycle is going to give you the perfect 'coverage' so to speak. You won't miss the boat, then, and you're not getting false positives or negatives on tests.
