Clomid & Bleeding

Hi All,

Just a quick question,

It was the first day of my cycle on Friday 12th June and took my Clomid on 20th June, I stopped on 21st June but continued to bleed very very slightly for 2 weeks (whilst on holiday!!!) and then started another cycle on Friday 3rd July. Should this happen? Surely Clomid should be regulating me to a proper cycle? I havent stopped yet either!

Im so confused as to what is happening. The nurse told me to miss Clomid this month as i didnt take any on hols with me (not expecting to begin another cycle whilst there!!) and continue again next month.

Also, I am feeling really really emotional, depressed and keep having crying outbursts for no reason!!

Well my first question is... why did you start clomid on CD9? Is that what they told you to do? I haven't heard of anyone starting Clomid so late... usually they start it between CD1 to CD5. It is possible that because you started it so late and only took 1 pill (if I am reading that correctly) that you kind of messed your cycle up a little. The best thing to do is call your doctor if you are worried and make sure that you follow his instruction on how to take Clomid in the future. As with any medication, it is important to follow the instruction of your health care provider when dealing with Clomid.
