Low progesterone,no ovulation and irregular periods


what options do i have?

Is anyone else the same as me

What would you do if you were me?

I had the same kind of problems and I would recommend asking the doctor for Progesterone to bring on a new cycle and Clomid to try to bring about a timed ovulation. That is the regimen I was given and it was a whole lot better than waiting 6 months for AF.

thanks guys sorry about the delay.

the doc just did tests and found i had low progesterone

wats the best way of raising progesterone?

I had the same problem and my Dr. prescribed Clomid and Prometrium (a progesterone supplement). Hope everything gets worked out soon. xx

usually progesterone islow because you havent ovulated. Once clomid is given and you start ovulating, the low progesterone will fix itself.

thanks for the further advice my old doc did say the next step for me would be the fertility clinic but the new doc whose taken over is 'anti fat' so i'm too scared to ask if i can go. plus i dont think the clinic would even do anything cause of my weight.

i know most of the prob is my weight its just doing something about it

In my PCT smokers and people with a BMI over 30 are turned away for assisted conception treatment as these factors do reduce the chances.
