letter from consultant

well had my 1st appointment with my new consultant, and i think i was expecting more from him.
had a quick q and a as it was all in my notes.
then had a very painfull internal exam.
i am now waiting to have a lap done, as i have endometriosis and a polyp which he seemed more concerned about than pcos.
it was me that mentioned it.
i was hoping for some medication to help me out.
i expected to get metformin for a start as my weight is going up an up.but on the letter that i got it says that the tv scan indicated pcos, so now i am not sure if i have it or not??
obviously i would be happy if i did not have them but i have some of the other symptoms too and the other gyne said she thourght i had it.
am i expecting too much too soon from the doctors?
any advice would be great.
i am due to have a lap done on the 1st september to sort out the polyp ans so he can have a look about.
thanks for reading

Hi hun,
I cant offer you any advice on this, but I just wanted to wish you lots of luck!
It can all be very confusing and hard to know what questions to ask.
I hope they can explain things abit better next time you go.
