AF, CYCLES and WEIGHT LOSS QUESTION????

Hey girls i just wanted to find out, has anyone been losing weight and noticed that their cycle has changed at all?????

I have lost almost 27 pounds this month and my cycle since the weight loss has gone from CD30/31 days to CD27/28 days so i am 3days early this month... I have never been early in 2years
And it is much worse than before, almost like before i had CJ but it is just too much... change every 2 hours!!!!!!

Do you girls think it could be the weight loss that has taken over my cycles now???????

It could be darlin. A lot of people report how there cycles change with weight loss. Also on a good note, a lot of women who've been trying for a while seem to fall pregnant after weight loss too! So wishing you lots of luck

And congratulations on the loss...

Jacky, I have heard that weight loss can affect your cycles. But going to a regular 28 day cycle is great! And you lost 27 pounds....... That is fantastic!

Hi sorry to gate crash but this happened to me. I lost 3 stone and I swear it kicked started my cycles again so I ovulated regularly. I did a little research and even losing 5% of your overall body weight can help regulate periods and get women ovulating again. I'm sure this is why I fell pregnant, it happened to my friend too. She's now trying to lose the weight again so she can have another, her doctor swears by it (even put her on slimming pills). Good luck your weight lose it is fantastic so far!
