Do I belong here?

Hey all just saw an older thread where some people we upset by others posting if they were under the 12 month mark of ttc. I am only cycle 11 yes and I am supposedly fertile as it has yet to be unproved but my DH has mild male factor infertility and we are eagerly awaiting our appointment to consult for IUI. So no I have not technically been ttc for a year but we do need assisted conception and even though I myself am fine and fertile I don't feel like I belong to the proper ttc section and feel like I need the support and advice of other ltttc posters and assisted conception posters. I don't want to be here though if it upsets people, I can always wait that one extra cycle. I just don't want to overstep any bounds.

Welcome! Anyone who is having difficulties at your stage, especially with assisted conception is welcome here! I have met some really wonderful people, and I am sure you will meet some great people too...

Some people get frustrated if you aren't "really" having problems, but I believe if you have been trying for a long time, and you just no longer feel like you belong to TTC, you belong here. Good luck! I hope to hear of a success story from you soon!

Thanks! I definitely feel like I need to be here especially with starting IUI in the next 3 to 6 months. I need the input from people who will be going through the same thing as I will be soon.

Hi Kelly,

This area is not just for Long Term Trying To Conceive but also Assisted Conception. So yes you are welcome here. There are many reasons that women come to this area of the board, don't feel like you need to pass an exam to get in here.
