I'm Currently Feeling: | Wonky cervix! Hey all,
Just thought I'd pick your brains.
A week ago, I had my smear test. When the nurse had a go at finding my cervix, she failed....twice. So brought in a more senior nurse who found it, but said it was tipped at an angle. She said that this was not rare, but had heard that this may be a reason that some women find it hard to conceive.
Have any of you heard this theory before?
I'd be grateful for any input please!!! She did say that if I manage to conceive, this kind of tipped cervix makes for an easier delivery!!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I had this problem when I had some internals (not scans) with the ectopic ... not nice when they can't find it she said the same about tilted. I believe there is issues around conceiving to do with a tilted cervix! Will they check this out further? They didn't say anything about it to me after it.

I'm Currently Feeling: | hey!
I'm going to my GP this afternoon to ask her about it, and also, to ask why i have been bleedinh ever since the smear. I bled when they did it, and it stopped that day. Then, stupidly me and OH did the BD next day....and OMG....so much blood!!! I then bled for 4 days. Then we did BD again, and again...blood everywhere!! I needed a tampon on tuesday! Still spotting a smidge!!
I'm sorry this may be tmi but I'm just curious to see if anyone has had the same experience?. They've never had any trouble finding the cervix before.
Hope everyone is good!!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | hey ive got a tilted womb too its also known as 'retroverted' i found out from an ultrasound i had done about a year ago. I had my first smear/pap 3 months ago and the doctors glasses fell of when she was trying to do it because its so wonky!
Ive asked a couple of doctors and looked it up on the internet. The doctors say its common 1 in 5 women have it and theres no link to fertility problems. The internet says that some people think it might cause problems but this has never been proved so i wouldnt worry about it.
it can cause back ache during periods due to the uterus position putting more pressure in the area and this definatley happens with me and i think it can cause painful periods...and boy do i get them!
Hope this helps! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hey livi, I head that you have endometriouses.
I'm trying to conceive baby #3.
I went to ER last night with sever back pains and mild abdominal pains. I have 1 week till AF is due. I also, Have nausea and shakes..
They said they think I have Endo. I was wondering what the testing for it is like does it hurt? How do you know if you have it?
I have never cramped this bad before AF was due.
I'm hoping to be pregnant this month with baby 3. And, I know with pregnancy there wont be problems with it since you wont be shedding lining of the uterus.
I had some spotting last night mixed with streachy clear mucus its gone now. I'm 5 DPO.
The doctor said I had no Vag infections so thats good thing.
Just wanted to know more about Endo.
Thanks, So much |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi there!
Looking back now, I'm not really sure if I've ever truely had it. My gp thought I did cause I was having random cramping and bleeding when we did the BD!!! That had mostly stopped over the past few years, so not really sure what the prob is now.
The tests are ok. I had an internal ultrasound, which didn't hurt, just felt weird! Then I had a laperoscopy, which hurt for a week or so after.
Wobbles...hi!!! I'm just waiting now for my appointment to come through with the consultant to see where we go from here! If I've not heard by next week though, I'm gonna ring her secretary and badger her!!! |
