Question

BBT Charting

hi! I've been ttc for a little over a year. I'm desperate and on my last round of clomid. Had ultrasounds first two cycles and they did show i was ovulating. I'm on round four now (no ultrasounds or bloodwork this cycle). I just started temping and my temperatures range btw 96 and 96.8...and i'm
on day 17 of my cycle. I haven't had a positive ovulation test yet either. Those things just don't seem to work for me. Has anyone had temps in that range...I feel they are so low and can't determine when/if I've ovulated.

My temperature is normally between 36.3 and 37. It is very rarely above 37 - I don't think that's a problem. It's the variations within temperature that matter as far as I know rather than the actual numbers themselves.

That temp is fine. However, the difference between your numbers may indicate that you did ovulate. It's the rise in your temperature that indicates that you've already ovulated. Sometimes theres a dip just prior to ovulation but not always. I didn't do temps for long because I really felt like they weren't that accurate. I wasn't getting any sort of pattern and I got frustrated. But, it works for some.
