Do you test early??

Just wanted to ask you ladies if u take a HPT before AF is due?

Even though we have been trying for 20 months (arrrgggggghh so long) I've never had a true 2ww as I don't ov on my own.

Thanks to clomid I will this month and just know that I'll be dying to test really early. Will try not to though as I would hate to get a BFP then have cow bag show her ugly face.

What's your opinion on early testing?

Seems like risky business to me and I will try my very bestest to wait until AF is late (can u tell I'm optimistic!)

Hey chick, I used to test early alllll the time, but I have calmed down alot now, I always know af is coming is dont bother!

I dont blame you for wanting to test early this cycle chick, especially as your on clomid!!! xx

Sometimes I do and for me it depends on if I know when and if I've ovulated, if I don't know then I will start testing after about CD35, if I do know I've o'd then I wait until at least the day before AF is due. When I was on clomid I would test early because I like to know if I'm having chemical pregnancies even though its upsetting.

Every month I claim I will wait until after my (hopefully) missed period.

Every month I start testing like 3 - 4 days prior to

Every month I'm disappointed, but those few days before AF -- I'm hopeful -- and so the tests are done.

I haven't really bothered for ages, though I did test early the month I got my bfp cos I knew something was different.

I will prob test early quite often now though as my thyroid conultant said I need to up my thyroid meds immediately...as soon as I get a bfp.

I think as long as it isn't too early it is ok. Personally i spot for days before AF (from 7DPO last cycle) so i know it is over early on and don't have the fun of poas! I actually have a digital test that expires later this year!!!!

Never have. I suppose it's the cost of the pregnancy tests and the disappointment of a negative result that prevents me from doing so. When we 'come on' so to speak, there is a pregnancy test in natural form and it costs bugger all.

I stopped testing untill af was late but when doing the second IUI i tested asap as i had a bbq to go to and needed to know if i could drink or not.

I used to test early then I couldn't be bothered anymore - couldn't face the disappointment. Having said that, I tested early after IVF #1 as I had some spotting and thought AF was coming, three days later

hadn't arrived so I tested and got my faint positive. This time round, I'll probably end up testing early no matter how much I try not to...

some months i do and some months i dont, this month i did and thought i had a faint bfp only to get witch 3 days later -doubt i will stop though.....
