uncertain, but hormone testing question

So I may not be in the right area, but I know there is alot of knowledge here and I need that. I've been trying for going on 8 months and have m/c 2x's w/i that and 1x years back, all early m/c. I recently started charting and it looks like i may have a LP issue. Since I just started its not exactly clear but because of m/c's i'm concerned and I did express that to my gyn who is sending me for blood work this week to test my hormnes. So the question is what experience have you guys had with progesterone/hormone testing? Should I be going several times in my cycle, what else should they be looking for hormone wise, what are my options etc. Thank you for your input ladies!

The most accurate way to test for a LPD, is to do an endometrial biopsy on a certain day of your cycle. It measure the thickness of the lining of your uterus. If it is too thin, then you are not producing enough progesterone to make it thick enough for implantation. I personally would skip the blood tests because they can be fairly unreliable. GL.
